Conchology is a series of indie pop short stories, and was written and recorded over a 5 year period. Some of the stories happened to me, some didn't. But I know that the stories that didn't happen to me have happened to other people, and those songs are for them.

Stuff the album was inspired by: the Beatles, the Kinks, the Fat Tulips, Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Galaxie 500, Mazzy Star, Hal Hartley, Daniel Clowes, Harvey Pekar, Kurt Vonnegut, life, love, laughter, loneliness, drinking and depression.

It features contributions by M.J. Brown (LiQuid Metamorphosis, Umbriel Rising), Danny Short and a song written with the brilliant Steven Davies
